ErrorLink

Production errors become Jira issues, with the stack trace and the trail back to the source.

What it does

ErrorLink connects one hosted Sentry organization to a Jira Cloud installation. A Jira administrator chooses the Sentry projects, the destination Jira project and issue type for each, and a minimum occurrence threshold. When a signed Sentry webhook meets the threshold, ErrorLink creates one Jira issue for the Sentry error group and records the processing attempts in a sync log. Retries and concurrent deliveries are deduplicated.

Status stays in step

Resolving or reopening a linked Jira issue updates Sentry, and resolving or reopening in Sentry updates the Jira status category. Administrators can export app-owned installation data and, after disconnecting, purge it.

Built on Atlassian Forge

ErrorLink runs on Atlassian Forge. Venture VD LLC operates no separate ErrorLink server or database. It supports Jira Cloud and hosted Sentry; Jira Data Center/Server and self-hosted Sentry are not supported.

Availability and pricing

ErrorLink is available on the Atlassian Marketplace, where its current pricing and evaluation options are listed. An active paid license or evaluation is required for new sync work and configuration changes. Billing is handled through Atlassian.

Operator

ErrorLink is operated by Venture VD LLC, a Michigan domestic limited liability company (identification number 802557198). Contact support@venturevd.com with questions.
